Former SPFPA Local 1955 Disneyland Pres. Jonathan James Mares-nieves Becomes SPFPA's handheld Puppet Again by shutting down any posts on its Disney Security Union Page - Open Forum noting: " An admin paused new posts in this group. Only admins can post. Everyone can comment and react to existing comtent"
Despite former SPFPA Local 1955 Disneyland Pres. Jonathan James Mares-nieves attempts to shut down new postings and comments the SPFPA Local 1955 Disneyland MEMBERS are continuing to send us addition posts and comments noting former SPFPA Local 1955 Disneyland Pres. Jonathan James Mares-nieves will NOT shut down our VOICES!
Former SPFPA Local 1955 Disneyland Pres. Jonathan James Mares-nieves was elected by the 1,600 Disneyland security officers to represent them. When Former SPFPA Local 1955 Disneyland Pres. Jonathan James Mares-nieves spoke up against SPFPA International President David L. Hickey and SPFPA Region 3 Vice President Ryan Kelly SPFPA Local 1955 Disneyland Pres. Disneyland SPFPA Update: Update: I have been informed that “election buddy” wasn’t successful per the international…. I do not believe that. I am just as angry.

Now that Former SPFPA Local 1955 Disneyland Pres. Jonathan James Mares-nieves announced that the SPFPA International has officially dropped the charges against him, what does he do? He now becomes SPFPA International President David L. Hickey's & SPFPA Region 3 Vice President Ryan kelly's handheld puppet by turning off the commenting of its Facebook page which he is an administrator of because of the FACT that the members of Disneyland SPFPA Local 1955 Facebook page are sending us hundreds of screenshots of their posts to Eyes on SPFPA in their fight to have their VOICES HEARD!
Former SPFPA Local 1955 Disneyland Pres. Jonathan James Mares-nieves should be ashamed of himself by allowing himself to be manipulated into becoming SPFPA International President David L. Hickey & SPFPA Region 3 Vice President Ryan Kelly's handheld puppet. The Disneyland SPFPA Local 1955 deserve to have their voices heard and by you Former SPFPA Local 1955 Disneyland Pres. Jonathan James Mares-nieves shutting down the comments during a 3rd ratification vote only feeds into the SPFPA's attempt to keep the Disneyland SPFPA Local 1955 in the dark during this FAKE / rigged ratification vote!
SPFPA President David L Hickey. The Puppet Master of SPFPA Local 1955 Disneyland.
The 1,600 Disneyland members should have a RIGHT to have their voices heard. However, since charges against former SPFPA Local 1955 Disneyland Pres. Jonathan James Mares-nieves have now been removed by the SPFPA International Union former SPFPA Local 1955 Disneyland Pres. Jonathan James Mares-nieves has now become a handheld puppet of the SPFPA International Union just like the entire SPFPA Local 1955 Executive Board! The entire SPFPA Local 1955 Executive Board are FEARFUL to speak out against SPFPA President David L. Hickey and SPFPA Region 3 Vice President Ryan Kelly.

Just a FYI to our Board.
Tonight I spoke to a few Weekend Only Security Officers who had no idea there was a vote going on right now. There was no mailer or text letting them know, now they are unable to come in during the week because of their other jobs and are unable to cast a vote.
Gene Ramirez
David Taguchi if it wasn’t for me occasionally checking in on FB (something I refrain from doing when there is a sporting game, race, etc so as to not divulge the winner) I wouldn’t know about any voting going on myself. There are no texts or calls advising of a vote; there are no fliers posted at work (maybe it’s allowed, maybe it isn’t); there was actually no officers that I worked with over the weekend that even mentioned the TA contract and days, times, and location of said voting. I have the Union App, and once again, no notifications. There certainly has to be a better way to notify and advise EVERYONE about the current voting process. Sadly, I do not have the answer myself 🥲

If they have an iPhone the text might have gone to unknown senders or spam folder. That’s where mine was.
David Taguchi
Eric Trinidad was there a text for this 3rd TA? I didn't get the and I get all the texts.
Kaulana Seto
There were quite a few cast members that received no information via email or text! Even though they have been getting them before! If not for me checking this fb page, I wouldn’t have known. This whole process has been very circumspect!
Mike Jay Mireles
I work during the weekdays shifts and never got informed about this last time nor this current time to vote
Jennifer Holland
They want no one to vote so it counts as a Yes vote.

Hey, I can’t post anything to ask a question. When is voting can you please someone tell me or tell me where it’s gonna be at?

Just a reminder, I understand your concerns about SPFPA and have asked myself about the trial basis ending in 2026 but if we decertify it’ll be a year before we can unionize again. So that gives the Walt Disney company 1 year to clean house in security without union protection and dont think they wont. So when we say we don’t want to renew with SPFPA make sure we’re doing the proper route which was agreed upon. it was a trial basis and if we did not renew we’d go back to the association not a complete decertification

So this ain't like canceling a subscription, by the end of the trail, theyll just automatically be permanent because we didn't hit un-subscribe???

My think is, go the distance with thr international ok. Who's to say they won't ignore they wouldn't unfairly stay in play. Look what happened with their bylaw situation and voting in Oct. They ignored they're bylaws and guidelines 🤣, took away our voting system with the charges brought up, and didn't allow us to vote on the contract WHEN THEY first came in. Ijs they really have came in and done a combination of things, what they want, and nothing all at the same time. 🤣

Laura OLacy I was told by mgmt, union, leads that if i transferred and didint like it i had 30 days to go back. Didint like it and union rep said “they won’t take you back but idk why” couldn’t get an answer even though I was a top performing guard with zero write ups & no complaints.

Tim Riesgo
I lost my job because of the union failing.

Sean Moguel
The union doesn’t do anything anyway. Having no union is basically the same as having the same incompetent union we currently have
