It's crazy that this post is being withheld from our Union members. Why has it been so long for this post to be approved?
This new number is a lie that we should not be believed.
Let's start with $54,080. 54080 divided by 52 weeks is 1040 per week; 1040 divided by 40 hours a week is 26 an hour.
63,265 divided by 52 weeks is 1216.63. 1216.63 divided by 40 hours a week is 30.41 an hour.
At no point in this contract will the base annual pay ever be what they're advertising.
The SPFPA is lying to us.

That’s funny! 🤣🤣 Over 4 years!
They make it sound good 16+% but if you break it down it’s CRAP. It’s an 8% split. Meaning: It’s 4% raise immediately after the contract is ratified and then 4% next April 1st 2027. So in essence it’s “8% in the first 12 month” period! NOT AT THE SAME TIME! They try to sugar coat it and dress it as a sheep when it’s an actual wolf!
So here is my breakdown:
$26 x 4% = $1.04 (2026 when ratified)
$27.04 x 4% = $1.08 (April 1st 2027)
$28.12 x 4% = $1.1248 (April 1st 2028)
$29.2448 x 4% = $1.169792 (April 1st 2029)
Our final pay will be $30.41.
But the question is, where is the + in the raise? Cause it says it’s a 16+% raise. Another lie to make it sound good! I guess since they are compounding the rate you get the “+” added. Since $26 x 16% = $30.16. So yeah we get an extra $0.25 with the compounded rate! Crazy how they spin it.
We all knew we weren’t getting the full contract to go through. They won’t even have it at time of voting. The International is all about screwing us over.
Decertification needs to happen in November.

I am wanting to inform you that your proposed contract is terrible still: AWFUL and the International should be ashamed of themselves! Brenda Alfaro former President

We just received several text messages from SPFPA Local 1955 members at Disneyland calling for a NLRB decertification election from the International Union,

I am a Local 1955 member asking for clarity on the contract voting process. We were told members would have time to review the contract, five voting days, and in-

Disneyland SPFPA Update: Update: I have been informed that “election buddy” wasn’t successful per the international…. I do not believe that. I am just as angry.
