BREAKING NEWS: We just received a screenshot from one of the SPFPA Local 1955 members noting that SPFPA Local 1955 Local President Jonathan James Mares-nieves has been suspended from SPFPA Local Union office. It should be very clear now to all the Disneyland SPFPA Local 1955 members that if you speak up against SPFPA President David L. Hickey & or Vice President Ryan Kelly you will be suspended and removed from office. This is how they did it in NAZI GERMANY as I recall.
It has also been reported that SPFPA President David L. Hickey & Vice President Ryan Kelly has appointed Patrick Lemos as interim SPFPA Local 1955 President.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We just received several text messages from SPFPA Local 1955 members at Disneyland calling for a NLRB decertification election from the International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America SPFPA.
Presently, the International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America SPFPA represents over 1,600 SPFPA Local 1955 members at Disneyland. Most recently the SPFPA International Union has failed to negotiate a new CBA on behalf of the 1,600 SPFPA Local 1955 members at Disneyland after it expired on March 31, 2026.

Yesterday one of the members of Disneyland emailed us some screenshots on what is really going on behind the happiest place in the world Disneyland in Anaheim, California. as you can see from the post above
Update: I have been informed that “election buddy” wasn’t successful per the international….
I do not believe that. I am just as angry. Last Wednesday we agreed to allow the members ONE full week from the date received to read the contract and ask any questions BEFORE voting would take place.
Additionally, we agreed in that room that voting would be a full five days, Tuesday through Saturday (however many methods the members vote on) to include IN PERSON (6am - 8pm).
Ryan is trying to change all of that.
And make voting TWO DAYS!!! Ryan is not returning our phone calls and is not answering any means of communication.
The international is trying to take control of our voting process.
Please help us & voice your concerns. @everyone

LOCAL 1955 IS PAYING ATTENTION
Serious concerns about changes to the contract voting process by international leadership.
Members were supposed to have time to read the contract, ask questions, and vote through a clear and accessible process. That included a full review window, multiple voting days, and in-person voting access.
Last time, ElectionBuddy was the main voting method and over 1,100 members voted. That matters.
For this upcoming vote, we want clarity.
We want transparency.
We want ElectionBuddy and in-person voting both available so every member has a fair chance to participate.
If you are a Local 1955 member, do your part.
Respectfully text or email SPFPA International leadership and ask for written clarity on the final voting timeline, whether ElectionBuddy will remain in place, whether in-person voting will be available, and how members will be given enough time to review the contract before any vote takes place.
Ryan Kelly
Vice President, Region 3
(586) 879-5087
David L. Hickey
International President
(586) 772-7250 x108
Be firm. Be clear. We are here.

I am a Local 1955 member asking for clarity on the contract voting process. We were told members would have time to review the contract, five voting days, and in-person access. Last time ElectionBuddy helped produce over 1,100 votes.
We want ElectionBuddy and in-person voting available again so the process is fair, accessible, and transparent.

SPFPA Vice President Ryan Kelly, Region 3 stated in the above Facebook post "WE ARE NOT IN VIOLATION OF ANYTHING" meaning the International in regards to how the SPFPA International wishes to run the ratification election.
As you will see below SPFPA Vice President Ryan Kelly, Region 3 knows a lot about holding elections as noted below in his SWASTIKA Twitter post commenting on the 2020 General Election.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – A Florida couple pled guilty today to conspiracy to provide and receive prohibited labor payments, in violation of the Labor Management Relations Act, also known as the Taft-Hartley Act.
According to court documents, since at least 2010 until November 2023, Ricky Dallas O’Quinn, 63, of Melbourne, Florida, served as both an officer and employee of International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA), a labor organization that represents protective security officers at federal workplaces. SPFPA executed collective bargaining agreements with several employers covering the security industry in several states. Ricky’s wife, Mabel O’Quinn, was the founder, incorporator, and an initial director of Company-2, which provided protective security officers at federal workplaces in numerous states. While Mabel served as Company-2’s chief executive officer and president, Ricky was involved in the finance, budget, and operations of the company since its inception in a clandestine role. Both Ricky and Mabel O’Quinn hid Ricky’s involvement in operating Company-2.
