We just received several text messages from SPFPA Local 1955 members at Disneyland calling for a NLRB decertification election from the International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America SPFPA. Presently, the International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America SPFPA represents over 1,500 SPFPA Local 1955 members at Disneyland. Most recently the SPFPA International Union has failed to negotiate a new CBA on behalf of the 1,500 SPFPA

Disneyland SPFPA Update: Update: I have been informed that “election buddy” wasn’t successful per the international…. I do not believe that. I am just as angry. Last Wednesday we agreed to allow the members ONE full week from the date received to read the contract and ask any questions BEFORE voting would take place. Ryan is trying to change all of that. IESA Local 1955, which represents about 1,500 security personnel in California’s Disneyland, became affiliated with the Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA) in October 2021.
